The Experience

The experience begins in Edessa, where participants meet the NedExperiences escort before heading towards the Naoussa region and the village of Giannakochori.
From there, the adventure starts inside Krasta Gorge, following the stream of Mega Rema through dense vegetation, natural water crossings and narrow passages.
The route is a true river trekking experience, with parts of the hike taking place directly inside the water. In most sections, the water reaches knee level, while in a few points it may reach the waist, creating an adventurous but accessible experience.
After approximately 2.5 hours of trekking, the route reaches the Krasta Waterfall and its natural pool, where there is time for rest, photos, swimming and a light snack in a peaceful natural environment.
After returning to the starting point and changing into dry clothes, the experience continues with a cultural stop at ancient Mieza and the Macedonian Tomb of Judgment — one of the most important Macedonian tombs of the 4th century BC.
The day concludes at Thymiopoulos Winery, where participants are introduced to the philosophy of natural and biodynamic winemaking while tasting selected Xinomavro wines accompanied by local flavors.
Throughout the day, the experience combines adventure, storytelling and local identity into a complete and authentic outdoor experience.
