The Experience

The experience begins in Edessa, where participants meet the NedExperiences escort before heading towards the village of Metamorfosi on the slopes of Mount Vermio.
The hiking route follows a beautiful natural landscape with running waters, forest scenery and small bridges leading to the four natural pools of Metamorfosi — Erato, Nefeli, Kallisto and Koronida.
Throughout the route, there is time for short stops, photos and — weather permitting — refreshing moments in the natural pools.
After the hiking experience, the route continues towards Lefkadia and ancient Mieza, where participants visit the Macedonian Tomb of Judgment, one of the most important Macedonian tombs of ancient Greece.
The experience concludes with a visit to Thymiopoulos Winery, where guests are introduced to the philosophy of natural winemaking and enjoy a guided tasting of selected Xinomavro wines accompanied by local flavors.
Throughout the day, the experience combines nature, storytelling and local identity into a complete and balanced outdoor experience.

The Route

The experience starts from the Edessa Tourist Information Center and continues by minivan towards the village of Metamorfosi in the Vermio mountain area.
The hiking section follows a natural trail through forest landscapes and water routes leading to the natural pools.
After the hiking route, the experience continues with a cultural stop at the Tomb of Judgment in ancient Mieza, before ending with a winery visit and wine tasting experience in the Naoussa wine region.
The return to Edessa takes place in the afternoon.
